Uhhh-mazing gluten & egg free biscuits & gravy...
My husband made a turkey last night. So naturally that means I made gravy with the 🦃 juices. This morning he asked for biscuits to go with the gravy. We cooked up some ground beef and onions to go with it. We just started experimenting with adding grass fed butter back into our diets after being strictly dairy free for a couple of years.
For the biscuits you need...
-1 stick cold grass fed butter, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
-1 1/2 cups all purpose gluten free flour
-1 tsp sea salt
-2 tsp baking powder
-3/4 cup milk, we used coconut
-Preheat oven to 400°
-Whisk flour, baking powder & salt
-Toss butter into dry ingredients, work quickly using fingers or pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal
-Add milk & stir with a fork until dough forms
-Use 1/4 cup measuring cup to make the biscuits
-Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown
*This will make approx. 8 biscuits
