Do You Know What Toxic Ingredients are in Your Beauty

& Personal Care Products?

Beauty Models

Do you have any idea what all those ingredients are in your beauty products? Did you know that the European  Union bans the use of about 1,300 chemicals in their beauty and personal care products? Canada is behind them with banning around 600 and the United States, well it's not good. The U.S. bans a fraction at around 30  chemicals and has not put a new law in place with regulating the beauty industry since 1938!!! Products that are known to contribute to cancer, autoimmune disease, toxicity and disrupt our endocrine systems are allowed here in the U.S. in products we cover our and our family's bodies with. Our skin is our largest organ and absorbs what we come in contact with. So, think about your shampoo, conditioner, facewash, moisturizer, make-up, deodorant, etc. That's a lot of added chemicals you're being exposed to.

Everyone should avoid these, but this is especially important if you're in the chronic illness community. As you're working towards healing it is important to minimize your toxic burden load. This includes things like replacing cleaning products, beauty and personal care products, filtering water, and getting organic foods when possible.

I've joined up with Beautycounter to help spread  their mission of getting safer beauty products into the hands of everyone! I love that they are 100% transparent and have gone beyond the 1,300 chemicals that the E.U. bans. Beautycounter has banned over 1,800 toxic chemicals in all of their products!!! They are on the forefront of making changes in high ranking offices and working tirelessly to get these toxic chemicals banned from use in our beauty and personal care products.                                                                                                                          What I love most about their products is not having to read the labels to figure out if it's safe or not. Their products are high quality and get a 110% from this licensed esthetician, make-up artist and nutritional therapist. The skincare lines are amazing and the make-up is perfection. Not to mention, I love knowing that I'm not eating heavy metals with my lipstick. Follow the link below to check out Beautycounter's amazing products and mission.
